I am committed to telling stories through imagery that truly reveal the essence of where the moment is captured.

I grew up in Orange County, California when there were oranges everywhere and ballet was all I thought about. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Science in Research Psychology with a Political Science Minor from Northern Arizona University. After college, I returned to California and worked in the field of art for approximately 5 years, before feeling a calling to move into non-profit. I co-founded The Pet Rescue Center and served as the Executive Director for 11 years. The PRC was a life-changing experience and a foundational footing for my professional life moving forward. I loved working with animals but needed to return to art. At this point in time I began working with the Development team at Laguna Art Museum and would continue there from 2019 to 2023.

I consider what I do to be a form of storytelling. I am capturing not only what I see but what I am immersed in at that moment. I endeavor to share what I see through a visual and oral history format.

Blythe’s work has been featured in Gallery space at The Hall in South Coast Plaza, many shops across California, and in private collections.
