HOW DOES THE ARTIST CAPTURE THESE IMAGES?
I am self-taught. I shoot with a Nikon camera. I am a hobby history nerd who loves to research before my travel, explore my surroundings, respect the customs, speak to people I meet about their story and the country. All images are captured spontaneously and in the moment. I admire other photographers who set up their shots, follow the light, and plan diligently. Yet that’s not my style. I like to know that my image captures the moment, the feeling and the authenticity of my journey in that place. Each moment is unique, uncurated, and real. Knowing that my capture is exceptional because it truly conveys life.
